My name is Dale Carol Kaplan, I am a certified doula and trained through the Sinai Hospital La Chaim Doula Program.
As part of my complete package: I provide your birth plan, massage, continuous labor support through your labor to delivery. Breathing techniques that help eliminate the possibilty of medication. 2 hours following your birth as needed for lactation and breastfeeding support.
Included in my fees, are on going telephone, email support , a 1 home visit for breast feeding and child care assistance support.
Classes for the "Happiest Baby on the Block" are available. Classes scheduled are upon request and location is determined to the needs of the client.
Classes are generally taken before the baby arrives so you will have the best tools and knowledge when you least expect it!
Just know you will have restful nights of sleep.

But, most parents make their homes so quiet... it actually ruins their baby's sleep! Did you know that the sound your baby heard inside you was louder than a vacuum...24/7. That's why using a rough, whooshy sound can flip on the calming reflex...and immediately boost your baby’s sleep...

The fee for Happiest Baby on the Block and learning how to sooth your baby through colic and sleepless nights are $65.00 per couple ( invite a partner /friend /grandparents as co-caregivers ).
You will receive the tools (CD is included in the fee) to help you and your baby have wonderful nights sleep. Classes are approximately 90 mintues or less. Class size is limited to 10 couples. No less than 6 couples to form a class.
I am also certified for Heartsaver CPR (includes Adult, Infant, and Child).
My fee is based on your needs and budget. One baby delivered at a time means one happy family.
I custom my service for your needs and budget concerns. No two births are alike nor is a family's needs and desires.
My passion for my career as a doula is one of a deep committment to you, your family and your baby's needs.
I am available for in hospital or birth center care and can be available at all area Maryland Hospitals with in the Baltimore and surrounding areas .

the hospital of your choice..
I do have back support of 2 other certified doulas as part of my available service. We all base our fee on your needs and expectations.
Meeting those needs is a done in person and all efforts to meet those needs are taken seriously.

Word of mouth and personal references is "old school" but when your talking about that once in a lifetime birth experience and it's your baby there is nothing like getting a wonderful personal reference from someone whom I have been personnally involved with and was there to deliver their beautiful baby (ies)!!! I do not give quotes and cost over the internet or over the phone just for this reason....we need to meet and discuss your options.
